Step into the World of a Digital Marketing assistant

Hello, my name is Hannah, I am currently working with Yoke Creative Agency as a part of the M-Sparc Skills Academy.

This opportunity with Yoke and the Skills Academy has already taught me many valuable skills that have provided much experience.

The M-Sparc Skills Academy has been set up to bridge the skills gap in North Wales, particularly in digital, science, technology and creative fields.

What do the Skills Academy do?

• A five-month placement funded by M-SParc in a relevant sector

• Work with leading companies in the science, technology and the creative fields

• Develop your skills and network with some of the most exciting businesses in north Wales

• Potential for other opportunities as well, such as degree apprenticeships and more.

M-Sparc is full of fantastic opportunities for all, based in Gaerwen on Anglesey. As a part of the skills academy I created a day in the life video for a sneak peek into the average day working with Yoke Creative Agency.

My day began with a coffee, before catching the train to Colwyn Bay, I then started working on the Welsh translation of Yoke’s website.

We then began our adventure to Betws-Y-Coed to visit the ‘The Gwydyr Hotel’ to record some content for a case study for one of Yoke’s clients ‘Gerallt Evans Metalcraft’

This was a busy, fun filled morning, taking part with videography and meeting new people in a different industry.

We then came back to Colwyn Bay in the afternoon for lunch in the garden.

After a lovely lunch soaking up the sun, we offloaded the files to the computer to start editing the case study.

This opportunity with M-Sparc has been amazing, creating new experiences and skills to those who take part in the Skills Academy.
